Location

Our holiday apartment Folkwang is situated on the 5th floor of the house 45147 Essen, Virchowstrasse 8. It is centrally located in the district of Holsterhausen, in close vicinity to the University Hospital. A stand-up café invites for breakfast, a launderette and the district centre with shops, bars and restaurants is reached with a short walk.

The apartment includes two floors, is equipped with modern premium furniture and offers high comfort.

The modern kitchen is equipped with a stove with ceramic glass cooktop and oven, exhaust hood, refrigerator and freezer, dish washer, toaster, water boiler, coffee maker and Senseo coffee machine. There is also a small seating area for two persons. Dishes, cutlery, and all the accessories that are necessary and suitable for cooking are abundant.

The bathroom includes a bathtub that is also suitable to take a shower, washbasin and toilet, shelf, mirror, make-up mirror and a heatable towel rail. The bedroom has a modern 40” flat screen TV with satellite antenna, a wardrobe and a desk. The beds are high quality box spring beds that can be put together as a double bed or used separately as single beds.

The parlour is equipped with a 90” flat screen TV with satellite antenna, 2 studio couches that can be pulled out into double beds of the size 1.80 m x 2 m, and a desk. A wardrobe is also available. The dining room is furnished with a large extendable table seating 9 persons and a glass cabinet. The cabinet contains glasses for any kind of drink. The sunny terrace is equipped with modern garden furniture (round table, 6 armchairs, sun shade) and offers a nice view on a spacious patio with old trees.

The second floor is also generously equipped.

Another TV set with a 40” flat screen is installed in the lounge/sleeping area, further a studio couch for 2 persons and one for 1 person, as well as a desk.

The bathroom includes a shower, washbasin and toilet, mirror, make-up mirror and plenty of store room.

The skylights have sunblinds, skylights and windows have privacy shields.

CAR PARKING SPACE

An open car parking space can be rented for 2.50 € per day and a garage (dimensions 2.45 m width, 4.80 m length, 1.95 m height) for 3.00 € per day.

MISCELLANEOUS

Bed clothes, 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel per person are provided. The kitchen includes a dish towel, dishmop and cleaning sponge. Additional towels, bed clothes and intermediate cleaning can be arranged upon request. The fee for the linen package is 5.00 € per person, intermediate cleaning costs 30.00 €.
